Summer Plan for children and teenagers

Pilates being a playful training is ideal to start in this discipline during the holiday seasons. That is why in XMPILATES we offer summer plans with a duration of 2 weekly so that the Child and the adolescent is nourished by the benefits of the method:

It helps correct incorrect postures such as how to sit, stand or bend.

^

Through Pilates exercises the child can develop skills such as coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, and endurance.

It also has psychic benefits, since after several sessions children will have better self-esteem and self-confidence. In turn, it improves your mood and your level of concentration.

Duration: 2 weeks – 5 hours/weeks. A total of 10 hours per summer plan

Implements required for classes

Mat special for pilates 17mm

If you do not have one you can also use a thicker yoga mat, and a small pillow that will help protect the supports of your spine contributing to the correct alignment of the body..

Big ball or Fitball

This ball is of high resistance and will work the body in its entirety, its dimensions are 45cm. 55cm. or 65cm; which vary according to the weight and size of the practitioner.

Medium softgym ball

Its size is 8 cm a 15cm. This ball will perfectly complement your exercise routine, since its size and perfect pressure can be incorporated into several exercises of the method.

Foam Roller

This cylindrical implement is 91x 14.5 cm. Its length allows to cover the entire back including the head, increasing control and balance in postures.

Spheres with heavymed weight

These act as dumbbells, but having weight and being circular in shape enhance the muscles even more in the different postures, you can use the spheres like the traditional dumbbells during a class, never exceeding 1/2 kilo in each / u.

Elastic bands

Another of the important implements of Pilates, since they contribute to the stimulation and development of the muscles, measure 1.5 meters long and will vary their intensity according to their color, being the most resistant the purple extra heavy tension, then the blue ones of heavy tension (the most used for their just tension), then the green medium tension, the red ones with Light tension and, finally, the softer yellow ones extra Light tension. The color is chosen according to one’s own muscle development and experience in practice.

Pilates circle or Magic Circle

This implement is highly required in the Pilates routine, measures 38 cm in diameter and has handles inside and out that allow diversifying the exercises.

Pica

Pica is useful for improving posture and avoiding tension in the cervical region. It also helps the activation of the CORE and there are different sizes and materials. They are useful for improving proprioception and balance in standing positions.
